For fourteen years, Gavin Crosisca was simultaneously a professional footballer (in the AFL) and an addict. An addict playing 246 senior games with Collingwood, winning a premiership, using drugs on a daily basis, pretending to be ‘normal’ and living a lie to his family, friends and team mates. Sadly, his addiction lasted way longer than his football career but these days he’s clean and sober and helping others climb out of the hole he inhabited for more than twenty-five years.
