Dr. Lauren Burns (OAM) is an Olympic gold medallist, who is not impressed with my grade five egg and spoon race victory. Lauren won Australia's first Olympic gold medal in taekwondo at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, competing in the women's under 49 kg class. Apart from having earned a PhD and being a 3rd dan black belt, Olympic champion and straight-up Lady Ninja, I’m pretty sure I could take her. But then, I’m delusional.
