Tamara Barlette is a recently-retired Air Force fighter pilot with more than 3,000 total flight hours and over 1,500 hours of combat support time in both Iraq and Afghanistan supporting and protecting American and allied troops on the ground by providing real time reconnaissance and lethal support. In addition to the T-38, Lt. Colonel Barlette has flown the T-37 Tweet, the A-10 Warthog, the MQ-1 Predator and the MQ-9 Reaper. She is also a graduate of the prestigious US Air Force Weapons School (Navy Top Gun equivalent) and apart from navigating the significant challenges that come with being an elite fighter pilot, Tammy also had to contend with being in the ‘one percent’ (of female fighter pilots). So many great lessons and insights in this conversation. My job is awesome. Enjoy
